To cook frozen Country Fried Steak In Air Fryer:

  1. Use your air fryer to heat the steak to 370 degrees and slice it into 4 to 6 pieces. Use the mallet to tenderize if needed. Stores that already tenderize their packs are my favorite. Despite their appearance, they lay flat like steak patties.
  2. Stir together paprika, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and flour in a shallow bowl. Mix together ingredients until combined. Combine the water and egg in a second bowl.
  3. Make sure all sides of the cube steak are covered with flour, then in the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture. Continue with the rest of the steak cubes.
  4. Line the air fryer up with the country fried steak.
  5. The chicken fried steak should be sprayed with an EVO Oil Mister if the air fryer sticks in any way. A parchment round from an air fryer can also be used to help clean up.
  6. Cook the cube steak in the air fryer for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying with additional oil if necessary. For it to be done, the temperature should be at least 145 degrees, but you can let the inside have a little pink. As much heat as possible should be kept in the air fryer using my Kizen Instant-Read Thermometer.
  7. Enjoy the chicken fried steak after it is removed from the air fryer and has rested for 3 to 5 minutes.

Here Are Some Tips On How To Cook Country Fried Chicken In The Air Fryer

  • For a quick weeknight dinner, buy your meat already tenderized.
  • The cube steaks should be seasoned with some salt and pepper and allowed to sit for less than 5 minutes before being dredged in flour and egg. Cube steaks will then be seasoned after setting for a few hours.
  • Before you place each cubed steak in the air fryer, tap off any excess flour. In any other case, chicken will sputter with flour during cooking.
  • Rounds of parchment with holes make cleaning easier afterward. They are super cheap to purchase and still allow the air to circulate.
  • Even cooking can be accomplished by flipping the racks half way through cooking. You will have a faster-cooking top rack otherwise.
  • Chicken fried steak shouldn’t be stuffed into your air fryer. Best results are obtained when the steaks lay flat without touching. This promotes even cooking by allowing more air to flow.

Using An Air Fryer To Reheat Country Fried Steak

  1. Get your air fryer ready by preheating it to 350 degrees.
  2. After the chicken fried steak has been ready for about 3 minutes, place it in the air fryer and reheat it. Before cooking both sides, I use my EVO Oil Mister to spray it with oil.
  3. Enjoy your steak cubes once they are removed from the air fryer!
