  • White Sticky Rice (1 cup)
  • Water (2/3 cup)
  • Chopped Green Onion (1/4 cup)
  • Small Chili (as required)
  • Cooking Oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Roasted Peanuts (1/4 cup)
  • Sausage Patty (1, sliced)
  • Vegan Pate (1/4 cup)
  • Mayonnaise (As needed)
  • Pickles (As needed)

Step 1: Prepare the Pickles

You can use carrot and radish for the best pickle for the recipe. Add sliced carrot and radish in a mixing bowl and then sprinkle pinches of salt. Mix them well and let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. Now rinse the carrot and radish and transfer to a glass jar or bowl.

Step 2: Cook the Sticky Rice

Now drain the soaked rice in a colander and place it with the rice into the bowl of the pressure cooker. Make sure that the colander is not touching the water.

Now close the lid and set the cooker on high and choose 12 minutes duration. Afterward, let the pressure release naturally for 12 minutes and then release manually. Now you can unlock the lid but left the rice until you serve them. You can also use an instant pot to cook the rice.

Step 3: Add Other Ingredients

Add two tablespoons of oil to a small saucepan and heat it on the stove. Once it becomes hot, add the green onions and saute for a few minutes. After that, take the pan off from the stove and wait a few minutes to cool. In the meantime, spread the sticky rice on a large serving plate maintaining a thickness around one inch.

Step 4: Add the Toppings

  • Glutinous Rice (2 cups)
  • Pandan Leaves (8 to 12 pieces)
  • Artificial Pandan Extract (3 to 4 drops)

  • Salt (2 tablespoons)
  • Shredded Coconuts (As needed)

Step 1: Prepare the Pandan Leaves

Rinse the Pandan leaves and cut them into smaller pieces. Blend them with filtered to crush the leaves. Based on your blender, you will require blending for around 30 to 60 seconds. After that, take them out and pour them into a small bowl. Now squeeze and strain out the pulp of the leaves. Then sprinkle some salt and pandan extract on the pandan water you have just preferred.

Step 2: Prepare the Rice

After that, drain the water and separate the rice. Now steam the rice for around 15 to 20 minutes or until they become comparatively clear and soft. They should be soft enough to squeeze with the pressure of your fingers.
