Learn how long to cook frozen poppers in air fryer for a tasty snack. Air fryers make great snacks or appetizers that cook quickly and perfectly! In this post, learn how to cook frozen Jalapeno Poppers in your air fryer. So, how long does it take? Six minutes to make perfect poppers! The outside is a little crunchy, but the inside is melted. I love it!

The air fryer is now a staple in our cooking routine after we bought it and learned that we do, in fact, need this amazing cooking machine. It is not uncommon for us to use an air fryer several times in a single day!

What are your thoughts on the air fryer trend? Buying an air fryer was definitely on our list of things to avoid for a couple of years. The counter space on our counters was already occupied by so many appliances we didn’t feel like putting one more cooking appliance there. There is an Instant Pot, slow cooker, food processor, toaster, and coffee maker. Is another machine really necessary? It’s funny. The answer is yes. Yes, it is!

You can make Jalapeno Poppers in the Air Fryer as an appetizer or snack

You can make air fryer poppers as a delicious snack. You can achieve this tasty snack in just a few minutes with an outside that is crispy (like a deep fryer) and an inside that is melted. Sometimes we eat frozen appetizers for dinner. It’s so delicious!

Our usual party food is a bunch of appetizers cooked up together and kept warm in a buffet server for the duration of the party. We bought these poppers from ALDI. Your air fryer will work with any frozen poppers.

How Long To Cook Frozen Poppers In Air Fryer

To cook your frozen poppers in air fryer:

Spread out the frozen jalapeo poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket. There is no need to apply oil spray.

The air fryer should cook one side of your popper within 5 minutes at 380 degrees Fahrenheit/193 degrees Celsius. After that turn or shake gently.Fry for another 4-6 minutes. The cheese will start oozing out if cooked for too long. So, continue doing this at 380°F/193°C until it begins to bubble.

Before eating, let them cool a little. Fillings can be extremely hot.

Healthier cooking options with an air fryer

I once received a deep fryer from my mom for Christmas. Back then, counter top deep fryers were all the rage. This contraption could be placed on your counter and deep fried to your heart’s content. In spite of all the years that have passed, I still remember him cooking a variety of foods, from wings to chicken nuggets to french fries to tator tots.

Also, I remember the smell of oil after we had fried a meal for days (in fact, the whole house smelled of oil for days afterward). The smell, coupled with the fact that oil cooked food tends to be unhealthy, makes air fryers even more appealing.

Air fryers may not be as fast as conventional ovens

Note this: When discussing their new air fryer with friends and family, they are always shocked that it does not expedite the cooking process. In thinking that since air fryers are convenient, people must believe they are also time-saving like the pressure cooker or Instant Pot. There is no guarantee that air fryers will cook food faster. The fact that it cooks many foods more effectively is my opinion. A crispy outside is created when moisture is locked in. Every time, air fryers consistently cook food.

At first, we started with a small air fryer and upgraded about a year later. A typical week for us includes at least four days in which we use our air fryer. Air fryers have transformed many of our meals into healthier options without sacrificing taste.
