You can use any variety of rice, but they use white rice in the restaurant.

So, here are the ingredients we are going to use:

  • Cooked rice (As required)
  • Butter (4 tablespoons)
  • Eggs (2, large)
  • Toasted Sesame oil (1 teaspoon)
  • Onion (1, small and chopped)
  • Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tablespoon)
  • Salt (1/8 teaspoon)

Instructions for the Recipe:

Step 1: Heat the Wok or Skillet

As you see, the wok is typically is used for cooking the hibachi recipes in the restaurant. If you have a wok, use it for an enjoyable H cooking experience like the Hibachi chef. However, if you don’t have one, you can simply use a large skillet. Begin with putting the skillet on the stovetop over medium-high heat.

Step 2: Prepare the Eggs

Take a small bowl and crack the eggs on it. Afterward, add the salt and ground black pepper. Use a teaspoon or the egg beater mixer to mix them properly.

Step 3: Add Butter on Wok or Skillet

Add one tablespoon of the butter in the skillet or wok when it becomes hot. Wait for the butter to melt and after that add the eggs. Once you add the eggs, you will require scrambling until they become less runny. Take out the egg after that while it’s still soft. You can also keep them aside from the skillet/wok where the heat is less.

Step 4: Add Butter to Sauté the Onion

Now after completing the eggs, add another tablespoon of butter to the hot skillet or wok. Let the butter melt and then add the chopped onion to it. Afterward, move around the onions on the cookware to make them lightly coated with butter. Stop cooking the onion once they become translucent.

Step 5: Add the Remaining Butter

Now add the remaining two tablespoons of the butter on the skillet or wok while cooking the onion. Wait for it to melt and then add the cooked rice. As we said earlier, it would be better if you use cooked and naturally cooled rice. Along with the rice, add toasted sesame oil and soy sauce.

Step 6: Frying the Rice

After adding the ingredients, begin stirring the rice frequently. Keep doing this until the rice is heated evenly and get a light brown coating. Afterward, you can add the egg and stir again to distribute evenly. That’s it, your Hibachi-style fried rice is ready. Now you can serve it with some sauce or other side dishes. You may also preserve the remaining on an airtight bag to eat within the next three days.
