Air Fryer Chocolate Cookies recipe:
- Unsalted butter (two sticks)
- Chopped walnuts (3/4 cups)
- Chocolate chunks or chips (2 cups)
- All-purpose flour (2 1/3 cups)
- Baking soda ( 1 teaspoon)
- Kosher salt (1 teaspoon)
- Eggs (2 large)
- Vanilla extract (1 tablespoon)
- Packed dark brown sugar (3/4 cup)
- Granulated sugar (3/4 cup)
- Cooking spray.
- For garnish flaky sea salt (optional)
- Start the recipe by Placing two sticks of butter in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and allow it to sit until softened. Add ¾ cup of granulated sugar with ¾ cup of packed dark brown sugar. Now beat (use an electric beater) both sugars on medium speed until they combine and become fluffy.
- Add one tablespoon of vanilla extract in the sugar bowl, one tablespoon of kosher salt, two large eggs, and beat them all until they are combined.
- In the same method, add one tablespoon baking soda and 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour. Again beat them all with an electric beater.
- Add ¾ cup chopped walnuts and two cups of chocolate chunks and stir it with the help of a rubber spatula.
- Preheat your instant air fryer at 350ºF and the time for five minutes
- ; on the air fryer rack, place parchment paper. Make sure to leave room for air. Drop two tablespoons of cookie dough and spread them one inch apart from each other. Sprinkle flaky sea salt, which is optional.
- Now bake for five minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully remove the rack and let it cool.
