Air fryer halibut with creamy Halibut sauce  

Ingredients

  • 4  (6 oz.)halibut fillets boneless
  • 4 garlic cloves (divided)
  • 1/2 t. kosher salt
  • 1/4 t. black pepper
  • olive oil spray or olive oil
  • 1 T. unsalted butter
  • 1 T. flour
  • 1/4 c. white wine
  • 1/2 c. chicken stock
  • 1/4 c. half and half
  • 4 T. parmesan
  • lemon zest to taste

Method

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Combine the kosher salt, 2 garlic cloves and pepper in a bowl.
  • Dry the halibut using paper towels. This will help with the browning.
  • Rub the top of the Halibut with the garlic mixture.
  • Place an air fryer liner in the cooking basket and pray with olive oil. Place the halibut in the basket and spray a bit of olive oil.
  • Let the fish air fry for about 5 to 12 minutes, depending on the size and thickness. The inside temperature for well-cooked halibut should be 130-135°.
