How Long To Cook Corned Beef In Air Fryer So That It’s Exceptional

We’re going to be talking about, how long to cook corn beef in air fryer. I love preparing the food that I will be eating. You know why, because I do not have to go out to a restaurant to spend my money. While I have an air fryer at home waiting for me to use it. The problem is that I will need to get the ingredients at the supermarket to make my corned beef dinner.

Also, just to be clear, when I say corned beef and not talking about the one that comes in a can, and talking about the brisket one. I’m also pretty excited to see how we make corned beef. Without further due let’s jump right into the post.

What Is Corned Beef

Just like I said earlier, you make your corned beef with beef brisket. The beef brisket is a very tough meat and one of the best ways to tenderize it is to cure it with salt.

You can also, slow cook the brisket so that the brisket can become soft and tender. You can also cook other tough meat by slow cooking it. There’s another way that you can get your brisket super tender that is by putting the beef brisket into a brine.

If any of that is too hard for you to do or you don’t have any time to cook, you can buy it at your local supermarket. It depends on what you want, you can go to your local deli and get your corned beef sliced or you can buy it in a can. Two of these methods can allow you to make a corned beef sandwich.

Some recipes will ask for you to have the actual beef brisket with the flat cut section. All you have to do is go to your local grocery and search for it in the beef fridge. And what’s interesting is that in March they would be easier to find.

In The Air Fryer How Do You Cook Corned Beef

  1. In a bowl mix apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard once it is fully combined.
  2. Before you tightly wrap the aluminum foil, baste the corned beef the glaze that you made.
  3. Cook the brisket in the air fryer for one hour at 360°F.
  4. Once the timer is up, take out the brisket and then unwrap the foil. We are going to baste again and this time we’re going to wrap aluminum foil loosely.
  5. Let it cook at the same temperature but then give it 40 minutes.
  6. Once the timer is done, take out the brisket and foil it. This will be the last time that you’re going to baste. Set a timer for 10 minutes and increase the temperature of your air fryer to 400°F.

Slicing The Brisket

Now that your corned beef is now done give it some time to rest let’s say give it 10 minutes so that it can cool as well. You’re doing this so that the moisture can remain and settle on the inside. If you were to cook it now all of the mores will be released from the meat and that will allow your need to become dry.

When you’re slicing beef you probably heard that you’re supposed to cut against the grain. In this case, nothing has changed, you will still cut against the grain. If you do not follow this rule your corned beef will become tough and all of your hard work will go down the drain. So, it is best to cut against the grain.

Conclusion

I know that you may have been scrolling to find the subheading of your answer but you will not find one, because I did it again. I purposefully left it out so that you can read the conclusion to the end. The answer to your question is it can take about one hour and 50 minutes minimum or two hours and 30 minutes. It could even take longer than that or less depending on your air fryer. You would have to do a little experiment to see what works best for you and how tender you want your corned beef to be. Also, don’t think I make this quite clear in the previous section. To make corned beef you will need to brine a beef brisket to accomplish that.

I do hope that you enjoyed this post, well that’s it for me to see you at the next one.
