The best thing to do is tweak the time to suit your taste buds. On the other hand, if you want to take the time to thaw your coconut shrimp then it’s going to take 4-6 minutes.

How To Cook Perfect Frozen Coconut Shrimp In Air Fryer

An easy recipe that you can do with your kids.

Cook Time: 8 mins

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • Coconut Shrimp (1 Bag Frozen)

Instructions:

  1. Take out the coconut shrimp package from the freezer and place a few coconut shrimps into the air fryer basket.
  2. While you’re putting the coconut shrimp into the basket, make sure that there is space between each shrimp. This is not overcrowded the basket and has the coconut shrimp cook properly.
  3. Set the air fryer temperature at 360 degrees F and let it cook for 8 minutes.
  4. Serve with a sauce and enjoy.

Things To Serve With The Coconut Shrimp

Roasted Vegetable Pasta Salad

Serves: 2                                              Prep Time:15 mins                                           Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

  • Orange (1, peeled, chunked)
  • Bell pepper (2, green & yellow, chopped)
  • Zucchini (1, cut into half-moons)
  • Squash (1 yellow, cut into half-moons)
  • Red onion (1, sliced)
  • Mushroom (2 oz., brown, halved)
  • Italian seasoning (1 tsp.)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Penne (6 oz., cooked)
  • Tomatoes (⅓ cup, grape, halved)
  • Kalamata olives (½ cup pitted, halved)
  • Balsamic vinegar (1 tbsp.)
  • Olive oil (¼ cup)
  • Basil (2 tbsp., chopped)

 Directions:

  1. Set your air fryer temperature at 380 degrees F to preheat. Add your zucchini, squash, peppers, red onion, and mushrooms in a large bowl, season to taste, drizzle with oil, and toss.
  2. Transfer to air fryer basket and set to cook for 15 minutes. Add all your vegetables, and pasta to a large bowl, and top with vinegar, and oil.
  3. Toss to fully coat, and season to taste. Serve with coconut shrimp and enjoy!

Zoodles with Corn and Tomatoes

This is a fantastic-looking zucchini recipe and tastes just as good.

Serves: 4

Time: 20 mins.

 Ingredients:

  • Zucchinis (4 medium-sized, spiralized)
  • 2 ears of sweet corn (kernels removed from the cob)
  • 1 dry punnet of halved cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup of basil leaves
  • ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, shaved
For the dressing:
  • olive oil, ¼ cup
  • grape seed oil or any light oil, ¼ cup
  • champagne vinegar, ¼ cup
  • sugar, ¼ teaspoon
  • kosher salt, ½ teaspoon
  • garlic, 1 clove, crushed

Directions:

  1. Combine the corn, tomatoes, and zucchini in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Add all dressing ingredients in a jar and mix well. Pour over the vegetables and toss thoroughly to coat. Let stand for a few minutes to soften zoodles.
  3. Transfer to plate, then top with cheese and basil.
  4. Serve with coconut shrimp and enjoy!

Quinoa Spring Salad

This salad provides a variety of flavors for you to enjoy with your quinoa including the watercress, and radishes.

Time Needed: 15 Min.

Ingredients:

  • Quinoa (1 cup cooked)
  • Olive Oil (3 tbsp.)
  • Lemon Juice (1 ½ tbsp.)
  • Radishes (½ cup, sliced)
  • Salt (1/4 tsp.)
  • Black Pepper (1/8 tsp, grounded)
  • Watercress (1/2 cups, shaved)
  • Green beans (1/2 cup)

Directions:

  1. Create a dressing by whisking together your lemon juice, oil, salt, pepper. In a separate bowl add all your remaining ingredients, pour your dressing over the salad, and toss.
  2. Serve with coconut shrimp and enjoy!

Bacon and Basil Zucchini Pasta

Here is a low-carb twist to pasta night, entitled Bacon and Basil Zucchini Pasta.

Serves: 4

Time: 40 mins.

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium zucchini, spiralized
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 clove of crushed garlic
  • ¾ cup of sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, sliced
  • ¼ cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 6 slices of bacon, trimmed of fat and thinly sliced
  • 1 small Chile, chopped finely
  • 1 tablespoon of pine nuts

Directions:

  1. Over high heat in a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook zucchini for about 3 minutes. Add in the sliced bacon and cook for a minute or two or until cooked. Reduce the heat.
  2. Add tomatoes, garlic, pine nuts, Chile, and additional oil to the pan. Toss to combine well, sauté for a few minutes, then remove from heat. Transfer to the plate, sprinkle with chopped fresh basil.
  3. Serve with coconut shrimp and enjoy!

Kale Salad

Serves: 4

Time Needed: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Lime Juice (1 tbsp.)
  • Olive Oil (3 tbsp.)
  • Salt (1/4 tsp.)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, crushed)
  • Kale (2 bunches, roughly chopped)

Directions:

  1. Create a light dressing by whisking your lime juice, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Add your Kale across 4 plates, pour your dressing over it and toss.
  2. Serve with coconut shrimp and enjoy!
