How to make Crab Legs in Air Fryer?

It’s quick and effortless to cook the perfect crab legs like an air-fried egg! Ready to serve in less than 15 minutes, spiced with an old seasoning with big boils at home! If you are looking for another way to make your crab legs at home, then here is one. Crab legs are quick and easy to make in an air fryer! I just drizzled Old Bay Seasoning on them, and they were done in just minutes. You will never do them any other way again. Since the frozen crab legs often come in cooking, it is swift to clean your air fryer, so once you have cooked it, all you have to do is decorate it and let the air fryer do its job! Although I grew up in the Asia, which is hot as a desert, eating at a seafood restaurant was always a good idea. I still enjoy them now that I am older, and I love that they are a great source of protein.

Ingredients

  • One kilogram of crab legs
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. Old Bay Spice

Optional

  • 2 tbsp. butter melts

How to make Crab Air Legs?

First, you will wash your carb legs. Then lightly brush with olive oil and sprinkle Old Bay Seasoning on it. I know it seems strange to put the outer shell of the legs, but hopefully, while in the air fryer, the taste goes into the meat, and it’s fun! Put the legs in an air basket, and cook them at 370 degrees for about 5-7 minutes, depending on the size of the legs. I use frost crab packets, so five minutes is perfect. Store-bought crab legs are often cooked. Don’t say that because the cooked legs will be orange or red. If the crab is green or brown, you may need to cook it differently. If you want King Crab’s legs, you may need to add another minute or two. In any case, sit down and wait for the Old Bay scent to fill the house and watch your family loving it.

  • Scrub the legs. I like to use a simple brush to rub my carb legs well. Then, dry them with a paper towel.
  • Combine crab legs, olive oil, old bean, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Use your hands to grease and fry all the crab legs.
  • Place the legs on foil paper and wrap tightly.
  • Put in an air basket.
  • Air crab legs at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from the air fry with foil paper. Enjoy

Recipe Notes and tips

  1. I prefer to use fresh/lost crab legs as I like the spice to stick to crab shells. If you have frosty carb legs, you can cook it frozen by adding a few extra minutes.
  2. When cooked, crab legs should be a light orange / pink color.
  3. Be careful not to cook too much of the legs, or the meat may chew.

Notes

  • You can do this with frozen or fresh crab legs. Once frozen, they will take a few minutes in the air fryer, or you can thoroughly refrigerate them before cooking them.
  • When cooked, crab legs should be a light orange / pink color.
  • This is good on its own or used with melted butter.

Can you cook Carb Legs for a little bit more?

Yes. But, You don’t want to scratch the crab’s legs. Because they are cooked when you buy them at the store, warm them up until they are hot where available. If you cook them for a long time in the air fryer, the meat is a bit hard or chew.

Do I need to wash my Carb Legs before Eating?

Yes. I like to make sure that the shells are clean of any remaining sand or store building materials or plastics. Then, I wash them and give them a small scarf under the water.

Why cook Crab Legs in an Air Fryer?

Mainly because I love my air fryer, but it is also a great way to “cook” crab legs quickly. I don’t have to wait for the water to boil when I make it on the stove. I also love the fact that the spice sticks to the shells of crab legs.

What do you Serve them for?

These fried crab legs are best made as an appeal with melted butter dip. Simplicity has been great! Of course, you can use this as part of the sea meat and other seafood and many sides.

Which Crab Legs are best for you?

Because we cook these crab legs in an air fryer, you want to make sure the legs fit all over! For that reason, it is better to stay away from the crab of the Alaskan king instead of the crab. Small crabs like Dungeness will also work well.

Bottom line

I mean, this is an easy thing to cook, and it doesn’t take much effort. This is very easy to do, and it came out crispy and fragrant. I did not quench their thirst or do anything more. My family even said that these taste better than prawn watchers. If you like, you can make a selection of Cajun or fragrant curry. Just sprinkle a little with spice! A little tip: I have never had a problem with crab sticks scampering everywhere, but if you do, you can put a steamer rack on top – I think it will help a little bit. If you have not tried them yet, you are surely missing something insanely tasty. You have to give them a try to quench the thirst of your taste buds.
