How To Cook Defrosted Sausages In Air Fryer

If you prefer to cook with defrosted sausages:

  1. Remove your sausages from the refrigerator at least 10 minutes before cooking so they come to room temperature.
  2. Season your sausages, if the seasoning is needed (based on the brand you bought).
  3. Set your air fryer to 360°F.
  4. Transfer your sausages to your fryer basket or tray. Try to add them in a single layer. Overcrowding your basket will result in your sausages not cooking properly.
  5. Place to air fry for 6 minutes or until cooked to your liking.

Tip: The internal temperature of your sausages should be 160°F when cooked.

How To Cook Frozen Sausages In Air Fryer

  4. Place to air fry for 5 minutes or until cooked to your liking, flipping the sausages halfway through the total time.

Air Fryer Hot Dogs

Ingredients:

  • Beef sausages (2 jumbo links)
  • Hot Dog Rolls (2)
  • Cheddar cheese (2 tbsp., grated)

Directions:

  1. Set your Air Fryer to preheat to 390 degrees F (about 4 minutes).
  2. Add your sausages to your fryer basket, and set to cook until cooked (about 5 minutes).
  3. Remove from fryer, place directly in the roll then top with cheddar cheese.
  4. Return to the fryer and air fry at 300 degrees until the cheese has been melted (about 2 minutes). Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. pork mince
  • 2 oz. feta cheese
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup mint, chopped
  • juice 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. Whisk pork mince with onion, feta, and everything in a bowl.
  2. Make 12 sausages out of this mixture then thread them on the skewers.
  3. Place these pork skewers in the Air fry basket.
  4. Set the cooking time to 16 minutes, and the temperature to 370 degrees F.
  5. Once preheated, place the Air fryer basket in the oven and close its lid.
  6. Flip the skewers when cooked halfway through then resume cooking.
  7. Serve warm.

Tangy Beef Sausage Kebobs

Ingredients:

  • ¾ lb. ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • fennel seeds, ½ teaspoon
  • Coriander seed, ½ teaspoon, ground
  • Salt, ½ teaspoon

Directions:

  1. Mix beef mince with all the spices and kebab ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Make 4 sausages out of this mixture and thread them on the skewers.
  3. Refrigerate the beef skewers for 10 minutes to marinate.
  4. Place these beef skewers in the Air fry basket.
  5. Set the cooking time to 8 minutes.
