How To Air Fry Garlic Bread With Aluminum Foil?

This is a question I get asked all the time. The simple answer to this is that aluminum foil can indeed be used in an Air Fryer. But just because you can do something, doesn’t mean it’s always recommended. Aluminum foil is great for easy cleanup when making certain recipes. However, it also blocks the holes of your fryer basket which restricts the amount of hot air that comes in contact with your food. This can become an issue when it comes to the resulting crispiness of the food that your cooking.

Here are a few tips to follow if you opt to use aluminum foil when cooking your frozen garlic bread:

  • Be sure to give your aluminum foil on the inside of your basket while cooking. To do this ensure that your aluminum foil is at the base of your basket. You want to ensure that your food sits directly on top of your foil. Ensure that no foil paper protrudes from the edges of the fryer basket.
  • As hard as it may be to resist, avoid placing your aluminum foil in the grease container below your fryer basket. This area was created specifically to collect and increase or particles that may be dispelled during the cooking process. Though you may believe that setting your foil paper in this area will minimize the cleanup of that tray, this would you up for failure. The foil can cause particles and degrees to go back up into your food causing complications in the cooking process.
  • Never start the cooking process with only foil paper. You want to be sure that there is always food on top of the foil paper to prevent it from blowing into your heating coil and potentially causing a fire.

Now that we’ve explored a bit about the behind-the-scenes of the cooking process, let’s dive into some delicious recipes.
